What we collect

Upright Upsell is built to know as little as possible. We store, per store:

• Your shop domain and an API access token Shopify issues to us.
• The offer rule you configure (products, discount, headline).
• For each offer shown: the order ID, the one-time discount code we generated, and — if the code is later used — the new order's ID and total, so your dashboard can show accurate attribution.

What we never collect

We do not collect, store, or process customer personal information: no names, no email addresses, no phone numbers, no shipping or billing addresses. We never use your revenue data to bill you — our price is a flat subscription regardless of your sales.

Data sharing

We never sell or share store data with third parties. Data lives in our production database (Cloudflare) and is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Data retention and deletion

All of your store's data is deleted immediately when you uninstall the app (on Shopify's app/uninstalled webhook), and again upon Shopify's GDPR shop/redact webhook 48 hours later. Because we hold no customer personal data, customer-level GDPR requests require no action on our side.
